Front Yard Revival: Restoring Curbside Elegance with Native Plants and purpose

Hostas were fine — but we did better! ?

This front yard bed, once scorched by sun and grazed by deer, has been transformed into a lush native landscape that blends elegance, resilience, and ecological purpose.

Under the graceful yellowwood, a living tapestry of Carex pensylvanica, Carex appalachica, foamflower, asters, blue-eyed grass, columbine, and more is taking shape — designed to thrive through the seasons with texture, color, and calm beauty.

Each project we take on helps restore habitat, reduce maintenance, and bring natural beauty back to our neighborhoods.

Next week, boulders will anchor the planting and complete the look.

Here’s to more spaces that grow with purpose and harmony through the seasons ?
